Being Trans* & Fat

A puzzle piece fell into place for me re: discussions of body image, dysmorphia, and anti-fatness when I realized - especially as a nonbinary trans* person with endometriosis and lipidema - that when I gain weight, I categorically gain it in my hips and in ways that enhance parts of my body typically considered feminine (though are not inherently so!) by the cisheterosexist gaze.
